La Vie En Rose

La Vie En Rose covered by Daniela Andrade originally written by Edith Piaf.

The timeless La Vie En Rose, translated "life in pink," is a hopeful melody detailing the search for comfort in the aftermath of a world war. Both written and performed by Piaf in 1945, the song fantasizes about the familiar haze and naïveté of first love.

The color pink is often associated with nurturing, a femininity, or calmness, but wearing pink in a delicate pattern or as an accessory can also be reminiscent of a warm cheek or the flushed lips of a special someone. The color mighteven cause those that come into contact with the wearer to yearn for the excitement of that tender moment Piaf so beautifully described in La Vie En Rose.

So add a little gentleness to the world either by wearing that pink dress or even allowing yourself to blush more often!  Wearing pink is a wonderful way to add a subtle warmth to the hustle-and-bustle of our often disconnected world.

Natalie is wearing a Free People dress in the first look. In the second look Natalie wears a vintage ensemble from The Tangerine Club and rosette earrings by Kate Spade.
